Schedule of Prospective Student Events

Eberly College of Science Individual Prospective Student Visits (Weekdays year round)
To help you decide if the Penn State Eberly College of Science is the right choice for you, we offer individual weekday visits year-round. Prospective student visits provide a wonderful opportunity to meet our staff and faculty, and tour our facilities. A typical visit includes an individual information session with the recruitment coordinator and/or meeting with an advisor or faculty member. To schedule a visit, please complete the online form.

Spend a Summer Day (July 28, 30, August 1, 4, 6, 8)
Spend a Summer Day (SASD) with us to learn more about the Penn State University Park campus and Eberly College of Science. SASD activities include an orientation to Penn State, campus tours, panel discussions with current Penn State students, an information fair hosted by university and student organizations, and presentations given by each academic college. The Eberly College of Science offers two morning overview sessions at 10:10a.m. and 11:20a.m. and afternoon departmental programs at 12:30p.m.

Scholars Day (Fall 2008)
Scholars Day is the Schreyer Honor College 's recruitment event for prospective students to learn more about honors courses and advising, undergraduate research opportunities, international opportunities, scholars housing and residence programming.

The Eberly College of Science (Spring 2009)
The Eberly College of Science Offer Groups are organized by the Office of Admissions and include a college overview presentation, complimentary lunch in one of our student dining commons, concurrent student panel and parental financial aid session, and campus tour. These sessions are designed for students who have been offered admission to the Eberly College of Science for the upcoming academic year. ECoS Offer Groups are held on week days between February and April.

Open House (Spring 2009)
The Eberly College of Science Open House is designed for students interested in attending the Eberly College of Science but is open to everyone. Open House activities include an overview of the Eberly College of Science, guided tours of campus and science facilities, an information fair hosted by university and student organizations, and presentations given by faculty and staff of each department.
