Biology |
A popular major in the college, the Biology major focuses on the study of life. This major emphasizes understanding species and their genetics, development, evolution, and interaction with an ever-changing environment. The Biology major can help to prepare students for advanced training in graduate and professional schools, or can serve as a broad education with an emphasis on the life sciences.
Options are offered in Ecology, General Biology, Genetics and Developmental Biology, Plant Biology, Neuroscience, and Vertebrate Physiology.
