New Book by Brandt and Eracleous




Niel Brandt and Mike Eracleous, assistant professors of astronomy and astrophysics, are two of the editors of the book titled "Structure and Kinematics of Quasar Broad Line Regions," recently published by the Astronomical Society of the Pacific Press.  The book is the proceedings of an international conference held in 1998 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The conference dealt with recent advances in our understanding of the major flows of gas that occur close to the supermassive black holes in quasars. Eracleous also provided the cover art for the book.  More information is available on the Web at
