For Co-op Students

Online Application Instructions

1. Register online (link below) and upload your personal resume** and cover sheet using the cover sheet template provided here.
   
2. Call 814-865-5000 to schedule an appointment with the Assistant Director to review your application materials and discuss your career goals and interests. Meetings with University Park students will be held in 108 Whitmore Lab; meetings with non-University Park students will take place via phone. (PLEASE NOTE: Your uploaded application materials will not be approved for distribution to prospective employers until this meeting takes place.)
   
3. Consult your advisor about your co-op plans and credit usage.
   
4. Review job postings and apply to those of interest. Be sure to check the system frequently since new postings are added continually. Check mail frequently because prospective employers may contact you via email to express an interest in your application.

**Please refer to your Co-op Student Handbook for advice on resume writing and to view sample resumes. Be sure to include categories on your resume for technical skills; sample skills provided here will give you some ideas to get you started.
