Background |
| The Pennypacker Experience
is a scholarly and diverse living/ learning community. Its main goal is
to create a supportive environment for first-year students. We believe
that this environment can have a positive effect on student retention.
The Pennypacker Experience offers you an opportunity to live, hang-out,
and study with students who share not only an academic orientation, but
many of the same introductory courses.
Many of the Pennypacker Hall residents are freshman in the First Year Science and Engineering (FISE) House Program, or the Mildred S. Bunton and Calvin Waller Undergraduate Fellows. Additionally, there are a number of students who may be athletes, participants in the Schreyer Honors College, and others who want the benefit of living in a co-educational, scholarly environment. During the year, the Pennypacker Experience
program will be evaluated. If you are selected to participate in this
evaluation, you will be asked to fill out a few surveys. Your opinion
about the program is important, so be sure to evaluate your experiences
honestly. We need your constructive criticism. |
