Early Assurance/Early Admit Program to PSU's College of Medicine at Hershey |
Early Assurance/Early Admit Program to PSU's College of Medicine at Hershey - This is an agreement between the Eberly College of Science and PSU's College of Medicine at Hershey. Students can apply to Hershey after their second year if they have met the following criteria: 1) Must have completed 8 of the 10 math/ science requirements, 2) Must have high school SATs of 1300 or above, and 3) Must have a PSU GPA of 3.6 or above. If students are interested in this program they must submit an application to the Premedicine Office. Interviews may be conducted by Dr. Markle, and qualified applicants will then be forwarded to Hershey for an interview. If students are accepted into the program, they would be notified during the summer. Accepted students would generally remain at University Park for 4 years, but in an extraordinary case, a student could leave after the 3rd year of the Premedicine Major. The MCAT is not required for application to the program, but it must be taken in the junior year. |
