Many science students believe the structured nature of their curriculum means studying abroad is out of the question. This is not true! It just requires research and advance planning.
The EA maintains a "Course Accreditation List" for each study abroad location, noting the courses Penn State students took at that location and the Penn State course for which the student received academic credit. Use the list as a guideline, but keep in mind it does not include all courses offered - it is a sampling only.
In addtion to the EA list, course equivalencies for the science partners have been compiled by Eberly College of Science faculty and advisors to assist you as you plan your study abroad experience. This is an on-going project, so please check back to this site periodically to review new additions to this list. Remember this is only a sampling of available courses, and not all courses are offered all semesters at every institution. Use this list as a helpful guideline and consult with your advisor if you have additional questions about required courses.
